Athlone Hall
Our Athlone Hall Nursery is tucked away on quiet Athlone Street, just a short walk from Chalk Farm tube station. A PolkaDots nursery since 2018, the spacious hall receives so much natural light all year round. The space has been adapted to the needs of a nursery and we have all the measures needed to keep young children safe – from child-friendly toilets to a two-stage entry system.

Our open plan design encourages children to move freely between different areas – like the story section or sand pit play area – always overseen by our caring staff. Our children also enjoy the use of the large garden area outside (as well as all the fun toys PolkaDots keeps there!) All children at PolkaDots benefit from Enhanced Curriculum Classes too, like Yoga, Dance, Cooking, Music, and Makaton!

“Our son ( 2 years old ) started at the beginning of this year and already is so settled and comfortable with all staff, he is always so keen to get in! As a parent I feel so relaxed knowing he’s in a safe, fun & friendly environment. In the space of 3 months he can count to 20 and knows all of his shapes! I recommend PolkaDots nursery to any parents!”

Unlike large nursery chains, PolkaDots Athlone has a relatively small maximum capacity. This means a low staff:child ratio, which lets our staff give each child extra time and attention and ensure their safety at all times.
Our staff team are the beating heart of PolkaDots and one of our parents’ favourite things about our nursery. Led by our manager Shandrika, our team have decades of experience between them in helping children to learn through play. They all live nearby within Chalk Farm and the Kentish Town area and are proud to serve their local communities. Click here to meet our team!
